Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates in Germany over 100 years ago, he developed the practise to strengthen the human mind and body using a series of controlled movements and “apparatus”. Pilates is a full body work-out that will improve your core strength, balance, stability and flexibility through dynamic movement.
At Balance Me you may first choose to balance your body using Bowen Therapy, you can further improve your posture, muscle tone and strength by practising Pilates in either one of our Community Group Classes or by joining our Online Classes. Pilates classes will teach you to sense and activate the muscles that form the basis of good posture and allow you to maintain this posture and alignment through correct movement patterns. Strengthening your postural system will help you stand taller, be more mobile and feel leaner and more positive about your body.
Balance Me offers Pilates for every level from beginner through to experienced clients, meaning you are supported as your ability improves.
